Twelve women lawyers

KOTA KINABALU: Twelve women lawyers, including Sandakan High Court deputy registrar Elsie Primus, were admitted to the Sabah Bar recently.

The other 11 are deputy public prosecutor Monica Linsua, Datuk Noni Said’s daughter Roaxana Jamaludin, Edina Sung Burongoh, Eow Ee Pei, Jay Ferrer Jeffrey Linjungan, Alice Chew Yun Chee, Michelle Rossana Usman, Amriati Amring, Darmin Achok, Rebecca Taimin and Gayle Anthony Jokinin.

Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Tan Sri Richard Malanjum granted the motions from the 12 lawyers to be enrolled and admitted in the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak pursuant to Section 4,5, and 6, of the Advocates Ordinance.
